S-400 ONE OF THE WORLD'S BEST AIR DEFENCE SYSTEM

One of the world’s best air defense system is “S-400”.

It is the extended version of “S-200” and “S-300”. These defense systems were developed in 1967 and 1978. These two systems still counted in best air defense system, due to this they are still in work.

America and Russia both are ravels of each other. Due to this both are engaged in developing air-crafts and army attires. But Russians air craft does not compete Americans fighter planes, due to this they decided to develop air defense system. And as a result Russia develops “S-200”, “S-300” and “S-400”.

“S-400” was developed in 2007. It not only detect missiles and air crafts in the range but also launch anti-missile when needed.
It is considered world’s best because of its specifications:

  • Multifunctional based system, in which missiles can be launched at different speed. It has four different missiles for short and long distance.
  1.      Long distance missiles, to destroy target in range of 400km.
  2.   Second missile to destroy target in the range of 250 km.
  3.    Third is to target in range of 120 km.
  4.   And for the target in the short range 40km.

These missiles are used according to target range and speed.

  • And second specification of this system is it’s accuracy and detection speed. And this is possible because of their large number of ‘radars’.
  • And third one specification is its range. It can track supersonic and hypersonic missiles upto 600 km. And can destroy them latitudinal 30 km and longitudinally 400 km.

The one of the best thing in this system is its 12 launchers with the help of which it can destroy upto 36 target at once, by launching 3 missiles with each launcher.
It can also detect and destroy American 5th generation S-35 fighter plane.

China is the only country with which Russians shares this technology but now they are also interested to share it with INDIA.

Some air defense system:

ASTER”- Air defense system of France and Italy.
AERO MISSILE SYSTEM” –  Israel use this technology.
THAAD (TERMINAL HIGH ALTITUDE AREA DEFENCE)” – This is the technology that America uses.

What is Nebula. Images of some nebula by Hubble

A nebula is a giant cloud of dust and gas in space. Some nebulae (more than one nebula) come from the gas and dust thrown out by the explosion of a dying star, such as a supernova. Other nebulae are regions where new stars are beginning to form. For this reason, some nebulae are called "star nurseries." How do stars form in a nebula? Nebulae are made of dust and gases—mostly hydrogen and helium. The dust and gases in a nebula are very spread out, but gravity can slowly begin to pull together clumps of dust and gas. As these clumps get bigger and bigger, their gravity gets stronger and stronger. Eventually, the clump of dust and gas gets so big that it collapses from its own gravity. The collapse causes the material at the center of the cloud to heat up-and this hot core is the beginning of a star. Some of the most amazing nebula pictured by Hubble in Milky Way Galaxy The Eagle Nebula’s Pillars of Creation (M 16, Messier 16) The dust and gas in the pi...

WHAT IS A BLACK HOLE

In April, NASA created a big announcement that they captured first image of black hole.  BUT WHAT IS A BLACK HOLE It is a great amount of matter packed into a very small area - think of a star ten times more massive than the Sun squeezed into a sphere approximately the diameter of New York City. The result is a gravitational field so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. Most famously, black holes were predicted by Einstein's theory of general relativity, which showed that when a massive star dies, it leaves behind a small, dense remnant core. If the core's mass is more than about three times the mass of the Sun, the equations showed, the force of gravity overwhelms all other forces and produces a black hole. HOW THEY ARE FORMED Most black holes form from the remnants of a large star that dies in a supernova explosion. (Smaller stars become dense neutron stars, which are not massive enough to trap light.) If the total mass of the star is large e...

Collision of galaxies, images taken by hubble

The interaction between galaxies is an on going process in universe. However the merging of big galaxies with each other on average once over the past 9 billion years. But Small galaxies were coalescing with large galaxies more frequently. In fact, our own Milky Way galaxy had several such mergers with small galaxies in its recent past. In the combination of galaxies there is no collision of stars with eath other, it is the dust and other material which collapse and billions of stars are born, mostly in groups and clusters of stars. Some of the images of colliding galaxies taken by hubble This is image of a pair of interacting galaxies called Arp 273. The distorted shape of the larger of the two galaxies shows signs of tidal interactions with the smaller of the two. It is thought that the smaller galaxy has actually passed through the larger one. This nearly 300 million light years away from earth. And a part of Constellation "Andromeda" Hubble has captured a...
